Free live music returns to White Pines with Strung Out on Aug. 21

Bensenville, Ill. (Aug. 6, 2025) — Get ready for a night of nostalgia and high-energy entertainment as Strung Out, “Chicago’s ultimate 1970s musical experience,” takes the stage for Live at White Pines from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, on the outdoor patio of 37 Bar & Grill at White Pines Golf Club, 500 W. Jefferson St., Bensenville.

Admission to the concert is free and open to the public. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from 37 Bar & Grill throughout the evening.

Since 2012, Strung Out has been entertaining audiences across the region with a dynamic playlist of rock, soul, funk and unforgettable one-hit wonders from the 1970s—many of which are rarely heard live. Known for its lively stage presence, unique use of electric cello and uncanny ability to transport fans back in time, the band delivers a high-impact show filled with “Wow, I remember that one!” moments.

“This is more than an outdoor concert—it’s a celebration of community and a truly iconic decade in music,” said White Pines PGA General Manager Andrew Godfrey. “Strung Out brings incredible talent and energy to the stage, and we’re thrilled to welcome them for a fun, free night under the stars.”
