The event begins at 6 p.m. at the White Pines Golf Club’s tented pavilion, 500 W. Jefferson St., Bensenville. Admission is free, and authentic food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Guests can enjoy a festive evening that kicks off with food and beverage service, followed by salsa dance lessons for those eager to learn the steps. The night continues with live music and dancing under the stars, featuring the high-energy sounds of Trabuco, a renowned Chicago-based salsa band known for its authentic Latin rhythms and dynamic performances.

“Live at White Pines Salsa Night is a unique opportunity to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with an evening full of music, dance and community spirit,” said Andrew Godfrey, PGA general manager of White Pines Golf Club. “We’re excited to welcome everyone to the Pavilion for a night that showcases culture and creates unforgettable memories in a beautiful outdoor setting.”

Trabuco, led by musical director José E. Reyes Jr., blends years of experience and cultural heritage into every performance. Reyes, who began his music career at age five in Puerto Rico, has performed with internationally recognized artists and toured major venues such as Madison Square Garden. The band includes a lineup of accomplished musicians whose backgrounds span salsa, Latin jazz and classical performance, creating a vibrant and authentic sound that brings audiences to their feet.

White Pines is more than golf, and Live at White Pines Salsa Night is part of the park district’s ongoing effort to provide engaging community events that celebrate diversity and culture.

The Live at White Pines Concert Series is sponsored by Fireball Whisky, and concludes with the Live at White Pines Cars, Cornhole and Cocktails event featuring 90s alternative music from the Form band from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12.
